About NORTHEL

NORTHEL EVENTS INC. brings more than 30 years of experience to events across Ontario. We combine thoughtful planning, creative direction, and professional coordination to create occasions that feel personal, polished, and memorable.
Our Story
Three decades of Ontario celebrations
NORTHEL began with a single community banquet and a conviction that good planning is invisible. Three decades later, our team plans hundreds of events a year — weddings on Muskoka docks, award evenings in heritage halls, cultural banquets for six hundred guests.
What has not changed is the way we work: one dedicated planner, a written plan you can hold us to, and a team on site until the last guest leaves.

Information we collect
We collect the details you submit through our enquiry and consultation booking forms — name, email address, phone number, event details and any additional information you choose to share — together with basic analytics about how our website is used.
How we use it
Your information is used to respond to enquiries, arrange consultations, prepare proposals and deliver contracted event services. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing with vendors
Where an event requires it, we share only the details necessary with contracted vendors — for example guest numbers with a caterer — under confidentiality terms.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to operate the website and, with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies to understand site performance. You can change your choice at any time.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by writing to hello@northelevents.com. We retain enquiry records for two years unless you ask us to remove them sooner.

Engagement
Services begin once a signed planning agreement and deposit are received. Consultations are complimentary and carry no obligation.
Fees and payment
Planning fees are quoted per event and set out in your agreement. A non-refundable deposit secures your date; the balance is payable on the schedule stated in the agreement.
Vendors and third parties
We source and coordinate vendors on your behalf. Vendor contracts are between you and the vendor unless stated otherwise, and vendor performance remains their responsibility.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the planning fees paid. We maintain commercial general liability insurance and can provide a certificate on request.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.

Cancellation Policy

Consultations
Consultations can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge using the link in your confirmation email, up to 24 hours before the appointment.
Event cancellation by the client
Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations more than 120 days before the event date incur no further planning fees; between 120 and 60 days, 50% of the remaining fee applies; within 60 days, the full fee applies. Vendor cancellation terms are separate.
Postponement
One postponement within twelve months is accommodated at no additional planning fee, subject to team availability and any vendor charges.
Circumstances beyond control
Where an event cannot proceed due to weather, public health orders or other events beyond reasonable control, we will work with you to reschedule and will waive rescheduling fees.
